Note: It’s May 20, 2009 and we’ve been home a couple of weeks.

I’ll leave this page up as it links to some ideas we had on our itinerary that might be useful for others planning a Tasmanian motorbike trip.

If you have any questions feel free to email me:

I’ll add stuff here as we chat about what we all want to do.

All ideas welcome and what I put here are just suggestions so we can get ba bit of a plan together.  I reckon keeping it flexible would be good so if we love someplace we can stay longer.

I would love to spend some time at the bar in the Hobart casino.
I am keen to see Lake Pedder and Lake St Claire. No bushwalking for me. Bike riding only.
I would love to spend some time at the bar in the Hobart casino.
I am keen on the 650 Beamer.
Can we get luggage racks fitted to each bike so we are able to carry all that we need.
I would love to spend some time at the bar in the Hobart casino.
Tim I am sorry but crazy mad doc is not working for me. The bloke is as placid as a rose petal. Tim if you want to be a crazy Doc call yourself
Jay, Ant, or Pat el. Now he is a crazy fucker.
I would love to spend some time at the bar in the Hobart casino.

Good idea re Lake Pedder and Lake St Clair (Cradle Mountain area).
No, we’re not getting luggage racks fitted – some come with panniers – see the photos, but we can also take our own fuel tank bags.
How about we spend some time in the bar at the casino?

Great training day with Hawkeye at morgan &wakers except Brendon “not happy jan”
?Why? Hawkeye suggested an alternative nick name for “golden knob”
Captain Cupcake.
It’s going to stick!

Golden Knob April 21, 2009 at 7:56 pm

Dear Crazy Mad Doc

It’s NOT going to stick.

Nicknames stick because there is a degree of truth in them.
That’s why Golden Knob will stick for me. Because I have a golden knob.
It’s why Crazy Mad Doc will stick for you.
For a doctor you’re not that fucking smart are you??
