Wow, what a brilliant holiday it’s been.
- The weather has been great – 2 days of rain (1 day being very light) out of 11 was fine with us.
- The roads are perfect for motorbike riding – get off the main highways and take the B and C quality roads. They’re fine and much more interesting.
- The food - incredible.
- The sights – most beautiful place in Australia.
- The people – really friendly and helpful.
- The beer – cold, tastes like honey and plenty of it.
- The women – magnificent! (Especially my blonde mate from the Bicheno pub!)
So we’d had a ball. It was time to leave.
Because we’re a bunch of very clever men we decided to cut it fine and, I won’t name any names (it was me), we managed to make our flight after a desperate dash to the airport.
12 Seconds To Spare
12 seconds to spare before the flight was closed.
Heh, it’s called making the most of your time.
So off we set for home, anticipating a very warm welcome from our wives as we walked up the steps to the plane cabin.
My Main Tips
If you ride a motorbike, get yourself down to Tasmania for the best motorbiking holiday you could possibly have.
If you need to hire a bike, then hire from our new mate Ian at Moto Adventure – he’s great. great bikes, great service, great everything.
If you remember, tell him you read this site if you do hire from him. He likes to know how people hear of him.
(In fact if you use any of the places we mention, I’d appreciate it if you mention this web site – always good for people to know how others find them.)
If you don’t ride a motorbike then learn (I only learned 6 months ago) and then go on a motorbiking holiday to Tasmania.
It will be the most fun you’ll ever have.
Cheers

Hi Kaz
Sorry for the delay in responding.
You’ll have had a fantastic time if the weather was good. Glad you like the site – the photos do look sensational.
The same guys went around the South Island of NZ in March 2010 – that was brilliant as well. Make that the next trip!
Cheers
